Brine flow, composition, concentration target, energy/recycle basis, tube geometry and vendor or user property assumptions.
Screening water/solids/recycle/energy discussion, mass balance, duty, area, tube count and warnings.
Vendor data, correlation applicability and constraints are stated per case.
In Development. FFE correlation is limited to its disclosed range; no full MEE cascade or final mechanical exchanger design.
INTEGRATION ROLE AND MATURITY
Selected concentrate or residual streams may form a downstream ZLD basis with preserved provenance and maturity.
8–28 h ZLD screening and configuration study
Illustrative planning assumption—not a measured customer outcome or guarantee. Actual time depends on project complexity, data quality, current tools, alternatives, review requirements and user experience.
ZLD falling-film evaporator screening sample state: planned publication. Validated, sanitized sample artifacts are currently unavailable; publication is planned. No downloadable evidence is implied.
FFE engineering preview applies only to 280–305 K, 35,000–95,000 mg/L, Reynolds number 45–90 and Prandtl number 5–10. It is a horizontal-tube correlation, not a universal VFFE model.
Out-of-range FFE cases require a separately validated design U and are never silently extrapolated. Tube mechanical design is vendor scope; hypersaline or unconventional feeds may require pilot and/or vendor data.
Crystallization is screening only: supersaturation, growth/nucleation, residence time, solids production, mother-liquor recycle/purge, forced-circulation duty, inhibitor effects and downstream solids all require equipment/customer-release validation. Multi-salt behavior and sequence remain validation boundaries. Non-condensables, vacuum, entrainment, vapor body, shell/tubesheet, metallurgy and fabrication are excluded.
