What it designs and supported configurations

Plant topology, stream lineage, closure, recycle accounting and facility-level diagnostics without replacing specialist calculations.

Current capability

  • Implemented engine foundation for canonical WaterStream v0.6 input and typed topology
  • Graph validation, lineage, recycle detection and component/H2O/TOTH closure
  • Unit/facility residual diagnostics, recovery and fail-closed supported aqueous recycle

Development / planned capability

  • Customer-facing workspace, Project Library persistence, direct specialist adapters and report provider
  • Production deployment remains deferred

Required inputs

Named streams, flow, component composition, units, process nodes, stream roles and recycle definitions.

Main calculated outputs

Closure, residual, lineage, recovery and water-disposition diagnostics.

Assumptions and defaults

Specialist owners declare transformations; engine foundation alone does not establish customer availability.

Known limitations

Coming Soon. Closure does not validate specialist physics or solve chemistry; unsupported recycle behavior fails closed.

INTEGRATION ROLE AND MATURITY

Progressive integration, clearly disclosed.

Foundation for controlled context as applications mature; customer-facing direct adapters are deferred.

Illustrative engineering capacity returned

3–12 h plant-wide balance and reconciliation study

Illustrative planning assumption—not a measured customer outcome or guarantee. Actual time depends on project complexity, data quality, current tools, alternatives, review requirements and user experience.

Sample-report state

Plant-wide stream closure sample state: planned publication. Validated, sanitized sample artifacts are currently unavailable; publication is planned. No downloadable evidence is implied.

Water Balance declaration and handoff states

Owners declare generation, consumption, dose and accumulation. Serialization and model hashing are immutable and deterministic; diagnostics identify the largest residual. The balance does not average pH, infer partitioning, invent mass or hide a non-converged recycle. The pure-aqueous recycle qualifier remains explicit.

Direct specialist adapters and customer connectivity are planned/deferred. Claimed handoffs are controlled states: Source Water→Pretreatment planned; Pretreatment→Membranes/Bio engineering preview; Membranes/Bio→Reuse awaiting validation; concentrate/residual→ZLD planned. Water Balance can preserve declared context, not establish customer connectivity.
